COSY AND CHIC WITH UNIQUE STYLE
18TH CENTURY FRENCH FARMHOUSE
// chalet algonquin // 5 ensuite bedrooms // sleeps 14 // HOT TUB
Chalet Algonquin is a beautifully restored 18th Century farmhouse, tastefully decorated with a cosy chalet feel and all the modern luxuries required for the perfect winter retreat. Located in the picturesque hamlet of Moulin, a traditional mountain village setting full of Savoyard charm and character, it is ideally situated in Les Arcs at the heart of the vast Paradski area, the second largest linked ski area in the world.
Once inside, you’ll be amazed by the original features of the chalet with its wooden beams overhead, reclaimed timber floorboards underfoot and gorgeous exposed stonework. An open plan living and dining area with ample comfy seating is the perfect place to socialise or simply relax and unwind by the log fire. To take advantage of the spectacular views across the valley, step out onto the large balcony, a stunning spot for you to have a drink at the end of a day on the slopes.
The chalet comfortably sleeps up to 14 guests. You can choose from a ‘family’ room - accommodating up to 4, a triple room or a double/twin room. All 5 bedrooms are extremely spacious, each has a bright and clean ensuite with a waterfall shower.
"Our hosts for the week were Dave and Lucy, aka the dream team!!! They prepared our breakfast, and evening meal, provided a homemade cake and tea and coffee in the afternoon, cleaned the chalet and gave lots of advice about the ski areas. The food was restaurant quality on every occasion. They were always helpful, polite, professional and good company."
We are ideally located for exploring anywhere in the Paradiski area and getting to the slopes could not be easier.
From a bus stop directly outside Chalet Algoniquin you can jump on a ski bus which takes a short 3 minute journey to the Lonzagne lift. Buses run every 30 minutes and are free.
At the top of the lift you will arrive at the heart of Peisey-Vallandry giving you access to the whole of the Les Arcs area and to the Vanoise Express cable car which can take you across the valley to La Plagne in only 3 minutes.
Alternatively you can drive to the Lonzagne lift in just 2 minutes or the ski lifts in 6 minutes. With free parking both at the chalet and by the lifts this is a good option for self-drivers.

//We do this because we love it!
We are big believers in the saying ‘choose a job you love and you’ll never work a day in your life’ so it only seemed natural for us to start Snowlit Chalet Co. to combine our passions, the mountains and food.
We are both snow addicts, qualified ski and snowboard instructors, who have travelled the world from America to Japan and throughout Europe, yet we are always drawn back to the French Alps and the Savoie region.
Lucy, is an exceptional cook. She takes great pride in preparing tasty, refined dishes with a modern twist. As a designer in her previous career she has the artistic flair to create beautifully presented plates of food.
David is an experienced chalet host whose favourite part of the role is getting to know guests and sharing his insider knowledge of the fun activities and secret spots he’s discovered during his time in the Les Arcs/Peisey-Vallandry area. If there’s anything you need during your stay David will endeavour to help you.
